The Possibilities with Microsoft Surface

We got turned on to this new piece of technology last year and we can't wait to see it used in our industry. Imagine the interactive possibilities with surfboards, snowboards, sunglasses, etc. Here's a few suggestions on how the Surface could be used on the retail sales floor:
1. RFID tags on all products can be read on a Surface to bring up special content affiliated with that product or brand.
2. Music and video files available to shoppers to post on their mobile device.
3. Skatepark, beach or mountain concierge with directions and coupons or tickets sales from your counter.

This is the future of retail.

Stance: More Girls On Film

We have to admit, the logo of the Stan Evans produced women’s film Stance looks a little familiar, but the music is amazing, and we’ve got the entire movie here in a “not so exclusive” showing thanks to our friends at Snowboarder Magazine. As they said: Watch the highly anticipated all-women’s film project STANCE in it’s entirety [...]
